Relationship Building

Building familiarity and relationships with funding agency officials while staying abreast of new and evolving grant programs, granting agencies’ priorities, proposal review procedures, and programmatic “conventions” is one of the most important and critical tasks in securing federal funding.  Trivium will assist clients in:

Developing mutual understandings between the client and the granting agencies with the goal of properly positioning a client to successfully pursue multiple funding sources in the agencies; 


Arranging meetings with key agency officials and preparing briefing materials (including one/two page descriptions of proposed projects, talking points, and collateral materials) for presentation to agency representatives;

 

Identifying and initiating interactions with research and education partners whose strengths could enhance the chances of funding success in targeted competitions.
